Full-day tour visiting the historic towns of St. Andrews and Falkland along with a drive along the beautiful Fife coast.

Tour Highlights

St Andrews – Historic university town and ‘home of golf’. The town boasts the ruins of the 12th century Castle and Cathedral, University Museum, Old Golf Course and British Golf Museum. The Royal and Ancient Golf Club (R & A), founded in St Andrews in 1754, is the legislative body for golf around the world (apart from America and Mexico).

East Neuk of Fife – Drive along the beautiful Fife coast passing through the picturesque fishing villages of Crail, Pittenweem, St Monans and Elie.

Falkland – Ancient royal burgh and home to the 15th-century Falkland Palace, former home of the Stewart Kings of Scotland. During the filming of the popular TV series Outlander, the town doubled for 18th and 20th century Inverness. 

Departure

From your Edinburgh accommodation or a pre-arranged location. Ordinarily we’ll depart Edinburgh at 9:00am and return around 17:30pm however, this can be agreed at the time of booking. 

Cost

The cost of this full-day private guided sightseeing tour for up to six people is £425.00 which includes all planning, tour guide and transport costs. 

Please note that your meals, refreshments and any entrance costs are not included.
