Edinburgh’s cemeteries provide an insight into the city’s rich history.

Often overlooked, cemeteries provide an insight into a community’s social history as well as providing a space for peace and tranquillity for visitors. On this tour you’ll explore several of the city’s cemeteries and churchyards where you’ll learn about the famous and humble former inhabitants whose stories have often shaped and influenced Edinburgh, Scottish and World history.  

Please note that this is not a ghost tour.

This tour lasts around 3 1/2 hours and can be combined with any of my other Edinburgh tours to form a full-day tour. 

This is a walking tour; therefore, comfortable footwear and suitable outdoor clothing is recommended. Don’t forget your camera!

Cost

A half-day tour for up to six people is £140.00.

Includes all planning and tour guide costs. Please note that any entrance costs, meals or refreshments are not included.
